International shipping

We ship worldwide from Malden, Massachusetts, USA. Most international destinations have two options at checkout:

• International Economy — handed to your national postal service for final delivery, typically 5–20 business days. Our lowest-cost option, tracking included.
• DHL Express — faster, fully tracked, and all import duties and taxes are prepaid. Nothing further to pay on delivery.

Import duties and taxes

Import charges are set by the destination country, not by Millibyte.

DHL Express orders: duties and taxes are prepaid. Nothing further is owed when your parcel arrives.

International Economy orders: your national customs or postal service may charge import VAT, customs duty, and a handling fee before releasing the parcel. These are paid directly to the carrier, not to us. Typical charges:

Destination	What may be charged on delivery
European Union	VAT at your national rate (19–27%), a €3 customs duty, plus a carrier handling fee (typically €5–15)
United Kingdom	20% VAT plus a carrier handling fee (Royal Mail currently charges £8)
Norway	25% VAT plus a carrier handling fee
Canada	GST/HST plus a Canada Post handling fee (CAD 9.95) on orders above CAD 20
Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong, UAE, Malaysia, Switzerland	Usually nothing. Our order values normally fall below these countries’ import thresholds.

If you are charged import fees on an International Economy order, we will refund any duty we collected from you at checkout. Email store@millibyte.io with a photo or copy of the charge and we will refund it. You should never pay twice.

We are currently completing EU IOSS and UK VAT registration, which will let us collect these charges at checkout and remit them for you. This page will be updated when that is live.

Insurance

International Economy does not include insurance. If you would like your order covered against loss or damage, please choose DHL Express or contact us before ordering.
